Who We Are

Romper Room offers licensed childcare in Boston's Dorchester and South End neighborhoods.  Your child will have the advantage of being part of a small group setting thus receiving the 1:1 attention small children need and deserve. What we offer to you and your child is much more than just a babysitting service.  Romper Room offers an extended family support system that nurtures all of us; a unique child care setting that caters to the emotional and developmental needs of all children.  We provide a non-smoking, clean, pet free environment with safe indoor and outdoors areas for play as well as nurturing, loving care in a professional manner.  We pride ourselves in being a wonderful, safe, loving and fun environment for your child.

Enrollment

Applicants are required to complete an application form.  Before a spot is offered, parents and children must visit the childcare (home or Center).  Parents have two weeks from the time of the offer to accept or decline the spot.  Upon parent's acceptance of the offer, a meeting is scheduled with the Owner or the Director and an additional meeting will be arranged for the parents and the child's teacher.  These meetings will provide an opportunity to discuss our philosophy, goals and general procedures as well as to fill out the required forms.  Your security deposit will also be required upon acceptance.

Monday - Friday

7:00am - 5:30pm

South End location (Center based)

Monday - Friday

7:30am - 6:00pm

Field Trips

We take quite a few field trips especially during the summer months.  To promote safety, we ask that each child wear a Romper Room tshirt on these trips.  You may purchase here:
